Arc is AOR for all promotional and shopper marketing across its entire portfolio of brands as well as all of its customer and channel marketing. The primary function of this position is to direct Strategy for all brand activationmarketing inititives for MillerCoors which will include brand activation programs across brands like Miller Lite, Coors Light, Blue Moon, Keystone Light, Miller High Life plus a number of smaller FMB brands. Additionally this postion will partner with MillerCoors’ brand agencies (DDB, BBDO, Leo Burnett). You will be seen as a leader on the account, and will have multiple direct reports. Experience/Skills Required: · Multiple years in business (8-12) – seasoned planner · Proven experience in brand and brand activation marketing · Experience working in a strong collaborative team environment · Strong qualitative and quantitative research foundation · Exceptional brief writing skills and ability to inspire creative · Proficient at presenting ideas and selling work to clients Traits/style that will help person be successful in this role: · Motivated, enthusiastic, high energy · Analytical mind and ability to organize a lot of information in an easy to understand format · Passion for the beer category · Passion for brand activation · Interested in learning about and becoming proficient in retail and shopper marketing · Highly creative, able to partner well with creative teams · Collaborative nature · Relentless curiosity around consumer behavior · Good management/mentorship skills Key deliverable(s) that the person in this position will need to accomplish within the next year in order to be successful: · Create brand activation platform strategies · Develop insights into key customer business issues/priorities · Mentor and grow junior talent · Develop close relationships with MillerCoors brand management leadership to create programs that help MillerCoors brands to win at retail and across the path to purchase · Develop an understanding of the beer business and its legalities. · Bring thought leadership to both the client and internal teams to push the work and the strategy · Understanding of what specific retail customers will and will not execute · Develop an understanding of shopper marketing principles and concepts Guide creative team to activate strategy into shopper-facing creative expressions This is an INCREDIBLY collabortative team in which creative, account and strategy work hand in hand on every project. Plus, Beer is fun!! The client is local – so limited travel is required.
