An adept practitioner and agile thinker, the eCommerce Strategist develops and executes strategies and tactics supporting the client’s Omni channel and eCommerce objectives.
Demonstrates a passion for the unknown, curious about the why. Begin to learn about shopper behavior and how it can be influenced through Omni-channel, ecommerce and promotions solutions. A desire to continuously learn new methods and programs and seek out ways to solve problems.
Learns through mistakes and improve through those learnings. Collaborate with the Client’s Onsite Leads as well as Agency partners. Learn how to navigate straight talk conversations with others in order to resolve situations head-on.
Handles multiple projects on tight timelines simultaneously while providing insight, consult and recommendations via reporting systems, presentations and ad-hoc projects. OWNERSHIPStudy the brands you work on and be aware of current industry and digital/ecommerce trends. Research competitors and retailers to bring new ideas to the team that solve for now and build for the future.
Collaborates with Client’s Onsite Leads as well as Agency partners. We succeed together and we fail together.
Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree required. 1-3 years of experience in the digital/ecommerce space – agency experience preferred but not required. Demonstrated consultation leadership and conversations. Retail analytics experience a plus.
DAY TO DAY Site Merchant Support: Accelerate the total Brand Omni channel business including sales and dollar share through proactive leadership and communication with Client Onsite Resources (merchants, marketers, product managers).•Execution of all onsite merchandising, analyze media and promotional results and provide recommendations for future execution & investments. User Experience: Develop and present recommendations for improving site user experience, across all platforms, leverage the Brand category – shelf learning, taxonomy, filters, signposting to grow baskets, category penetration.•Identify opportunities to influence search algorithm and/or search experience to increase category closure and sales. Basket Building: Develop and execute recommendations to deliver basket and sales growth leveraging regimen and affinity purchase data. Data Integration & Analytics: Gather and present weekly (and ad hoc) ecommerce data reports to Brand and Client leaders.•Analyze department and category data to identify business drivers and gaps and provide new idea recommendations to grow the business while assessing competitive promotions and trends to grow Client and Brand business.Execution of all onsite merchandising, analyze media and promotional results and provide recommendations for future execution & investments.
