Summary and Scope of Position: The PCNA finance team will undergo a reorganization in order to enhance the quality of the data provided tothe business and deliver efficiencies. Responsibilities: - Create Jobs in Altair system according to client specific requirements - Ensure jobs are created in accordance with GAAP/Janus accounting guidelines (IFRS 15, RA Analysis) - Assign billing rates to Jobs, as needed - Receive and reviewing estimate packets from Agency through internal estimate route in LoadingDoc -Assist the Billing Specialist and Purchasing Analysts review of the job and troubleshooting any errors. - Approving of Billing Drafts within Altair - Key Member to attend the monthly meetings led by the Billing Specialist to determine changes with client and ask questions about the status of the client - Review of the job and all internal entries prior to Job Closure in the system and assist/troubleshoot any errors - Understand key financial terms of client contract and works to ensure agency compliance - Liaison with the GDW Reporting team in order to provide the Agency with any specialized client reports - Assist with any client specific accrual or budget reporting -Coordinate with the System Admin for resolution of open tickets filed regarding job issues - Assist with all audits (external,client and internal audit) by providing supporting documentation and commentary on any concerns Other - Professional demeanor towards management, supervisors, peers and employees at all times - Keep accurate, complete and easily accessible work files and exception logs. Ensure that management knows how and where to locate back-up for assigned responsibilities at workstation- Identify opportunities for process improvements; and escalation of issues appropriately - Document and communicate all situations to manager - Assist the Client Business Managers with special projects Qualifications Education/ Work Experience: - Bachelor’s Degree Required - 3-4 years Agency Production, Client Business Management and/or Client Finance experience - Proficient in MS Office Suite Knowledge /Skills - Demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge of accounting principles to the Agency’s system and processes - Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality of information - Excellent organizational and problem solving skills - Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment - Must be able to maintain professionalism when addressing issues and problems involving a variety of people - Ability and eagerness to learn quickly in a rapidly changing fast paced environment - Self-motivator, out of the box thinker with passion to drive re-engineering throughout Finance - Excellent system, interpersonal and communication skills - Good sense of urgency and ownership, high reliability - Positive approach to projects delegated outside of normal job requirements
