Martin Retail Group has an outstanding opportunity in our South Central Region. Supervise Local Cadillac Marketing Association advertising activity in key markets within the Region. Primary client contact with dealers, Regional clients and Cadillac District Sales Manager(s). Partner with national brand teams in the stewardship of the brand throughout all communications. Should become expert in each local market and its challenges/opportunities. Responsible for managing LMAs (Local Marketing Associations) within the SCR. This involves running monthly advertising/marketing meetings, managing creative decisions, reporting and budgets. Responsibilities: Supervise day-to-day implementation of Regional and Local Market advertising on television, on-line and radio; coordinate with centers of expertise regarding implementation of other marketing communications Manage and supervise Assistant Account Executive or Account Executive in assisting you in all aspects of your job; provide performance feedback, career development and training as needed Present and communicate regional/local marketing needs and opportunities to brand team members and centers of expertise; coordinate with each department to see that client objectives are achieved Work closely with agency retail advertising group (planner and media team – traditional and digital) to develop strategy and media plans/budgets Orchestrate integration of all marketing and communication disciplines Represent client with vendors and at marketing events, etc.; relay information back to agency team Clients: Clients include local marketing associations dealers, Cadillac Regional clients and Cadillac District Sales Managers. Travel: Moderate travel, possibly 3-4 days per month within the Region; approximately 25%; it will likely include both day and overnight trips. Education: Minimum 4-year degree Required Experience: 3-5+ years agency account management experience at the Account Supervisor level and preferably on automotive business Brand building savvy Excellent public speaking abilities; this position requires presenting to clients on a monthly basis Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and building engaging and informative presentations Preferred Experience: Experience with the demands of automotive/retail and an understanding of the regional market in question An understanding of retail advertising Skills: Ability to take initiative and work with minimum supervision Proven relationship-building and communication skills Must be able to communicate well remotely Entrepreneurial attitude and fortitude Appreciation for and desire to work with dealer groups on a daily basis Good project manager as well as strategic big-picture thinker Creativity, confidence, and passion for contributing to the company’s mission
