Publicis Groupe Proposes Appointment of Jaime Teevan to its Board of Directors

Publicis Groupe's [Euronext Paris FR0000130577, CAC 40] Board of Directors, on the recommendation of the Nominating Committee, will propose at the upcoming Combined General Shareholders’ Meeting on May 27th 2026, the appointment of Jaime Teevan as an Independent Director, for a term of four years. 

An internationally recognized computer scientist and AI researcher, Jaime Teevan's extensive experience in artificial intelligence, digital innovation and the future of work would further reinforce the Board's expertise in technology and long-term strategic transformation.

The proposed appointment forms part of the Board of Directors’ commitment to maintaining a highly qualified, diverse and independent governance structure aligned to the rapidly evolving global business landscape. In support of this objective, the Nominating Committee initiated a process at the end of 2024 to identify potential independent directors with deep expertise in new and emerging technologies.  

Currently serving as Chief Scientist and Technical Fellow at Microsoft, Jaime Teevan is a leading expert in artificial intelligence and human-computer interaction, and has contributed to research on how digital technologies are transforming the way people work, create and access information. 
She holds a PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has authored numerous publications in the fields of AI, productivity and information retrieval.

Shareholders will be invited to vote on a new resolution relating to the appointment of Jaime Teevan as an Independent Director at the upcoming General Shareholders' Meeting.

About Jaime Teevan:

Jaime Teevan is Chief Scientist and Technical Fellow at Microsoft, where she is responsible for driving research-backed innovation for the company’s products. A leader in the development of AI for productivity, she was named one of TIME's 100 most influential people in AI. She led the creation of M365 Copilot by integrating AI into Microsoft products, invented the first personalized search algorithm used by Bing, and coordinated the company's hybrid work research during the pandemic. Previously, she served as Technical Advisor to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella. Jaime is an ACM Fellow and a member of the SIGIR and CHI Academies. She holds a Ph.D. in AI from MIT and a B.S. from Yale, and is an Affiliate Professor at the University of Washington.
